He opposed bussing for civil rights in 1972, calling it an asinine concept. Listen to today's "Democracy Now" for more details. He also said he advocated a CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT to combat integration in schooling.

1972 was a long time ago. It's easily possible he's learned, thought about things, turned his ideas right around, seen the light. Happens to many people

@damselfly He admitted in the debates that he hasn't really changed, only learned to hide his truth better.
