Remember little Greta Thunberg?

The (then) little girl who so wisely told off a bunch of old, corrupt white men? I wonder how she is doing? She sure made Trump look foolish.

She wrote an excellent article in the Guardian the other day.

In the story of the emperor's new clothes she was the child who pointed out governments everywhere had no clothes on. But they still keep marching on. History will show them and their supporters as the idiots in the story.
@Abstraction Thanks so much for the link. I hope others will take some time and read it over. It's true we have crossed the point of no return. Personally, I think this earth has just about had it with us and is going to shake us off this planet like so many annoying fleas. The earth will heal herself and most likely without us.

Politicians and most of us citizens remain fairly indifferent about climate change, here in Ca. we are in the middle of the worst drought in around a hundred years with NO ending in sight. This is going to play havoc with our food supply and economy. Just a trip to the market is proof enough that monthly grocery are quickly becoming a luxury item rather than routine staples we have taken for granted.

I have yet to see any kind of plans for water conservation, I have taken my own steps and can only hope others are doing likewise.

If we continue voting in Republicans who are largely supported by corporations that oppose any pro-active climate change programs/legislation the future for agriculture and so many other industries looks pretty gloomy.

It isn't rocket science, without water we simply cannot survive.

@Roundandroundwego Because fossil fuel and other interest corporations donate to both parties. Capitalism swallows democracy. In Australia our preferential voting system meant that we could create a balance of power of independent candidates NOT funded by these corporate controllers to finally get climate change back on the agenda. In US you realistically only have two parties, full stop, it seems.
@Grateful4you no return people were denial people last week.
