In the story of the emperor's new clothes she was the child who pointed out governments everywhere had no clothes on. But they still keep marching on. History will show them and their supporters as the idiots in the story.

@Roundandroundwego Because fossil fuel and other interest corporations donate to both parties. Capitalism swallows democracy. In Australia our preferential voting system meant that we could create a balance of power of independent candidates NOT funded by these corporate controllers to finally get climate change back on the agenda. In US you realistically only have two parties, full stop, it seems.

Oh, she's out there still, ringing the bells of caution that so many have grown deaf to. I find it amusing that so many criticise her for being a child when the issues about which she speaks can solved using the logic and empathy of a 7-year-old.

Every day in every family, group and nation, a whole lot of little girls and boys and older adults get ignored by the collective while bringing important news to the community.
I was cute,too in 1968, speaking up for the dandelions.
