Action is better than words. Instead listening her lecture, better we working something to help our Earth by ourselves.

@iamelijah Yeah, like maybe some of the things she says?
iamelijah · 26-30, M
@Burnley123 Touché. But, she is focusing too much on political leaders and mega companies. Do you think adults are listening to kids?
Second, I cannot get over with flight shame. Her words contradict with her actions. Too much budget spending just for her crossed the continent using boats.
Did she forget there are animals in the sea?
If she has the solution not to use flight, I am up to it. For now, nope.

@iamelijah she seems to be manipulated by her elders.
Though climate change is fact and a natural process. We should be concerned about it with a global effort about it.

I don't get the sense in 'Ignore Greta so we can fight climate change.'
The point she raises (which is true) is that politicians, industry leaders and people generally are not doing enough. They are able to get away with it because of a lack of media scrutiny.
Is she an expert? No, but it's hardly the point. She is a public figure and there to popularise one side of the climate change debate. She also has a certain moral authority akin the truth coming from the mouths of babes and because she is a figurehead for the next generation.
Sure, nit-pick away and make this about alledged character flaws. The fossil-fuel lobby will enjoy that narrative.

@Reflection2 Indeed. This isn't new thing. I think we all have to participate the movement by changing our lifestyle. Are we ready for it? Some can, some can't.
Now, that is the tough one. How can we make solution of them to change their lifestyle or daily habit/use without compromising too much on their lives?

@Burnley123 Oh dammit. I thought one comment would be enough.
Alright. Let us ask all of people around the world if they willing to stop using cars.
