If the world was actually concerned about climate change, wouldn't junk mail be eliminated by now?

I think that would be a solid step towards doing good. Less trees destroyed, less energy used in production and delivery, and less annoying pre-approved credit cards.

And the best part - less trash to deal with.

@Punches Plus all of the world leaders and so called business leaders would have had a zoom conference instead of flying in on 400 private jets

@nedkelly That might have helped too.

@Punches Yep. How about a national push for more people to work from home permanently ? Transportation makes up 20% of global warming gasses, think how much we could reduce by just this simple step which we just proved could work due to the various and ongoing lockdowns from Covid.

If we get out of this, it certainly won't be because TPTB get together and come up with a bullshit agreement that is irrelevant and useless 5 years after it is agreed upon.

@SumKindaMunster It would be a big help. I do not know how most people would feel about working from home though.

For me honestly, I do not know if I would last long in such a job because I try to keep home and work separate.

As it stands though, my job cannot be done at home.

@Punches I love it when I get a paper bill that has a balance of 0.00 on it! That is activism at its finest!
