She's trying to improve it and she doesn't know a better way to get anything done other than nag... to her credit that's a lot more effort into a single positive for all humans project then most of us put into one in our lifetime.

@CopperCicada Yeah, she's trying to make positive change... give her credit, but also her parents probably drilled it into her.
