Why can't we ever have a female president when other states have female governors, female mayors, and female senators?

Ngl I would like to see one in my lifetime just cause why not
Just there's not a lot of options for candidates in general
So some people won't even vote for the one candidate we had because she didn't stand for what they wanted.
