The Governor of Tennessee is strongly approves and appreciates this project. It’s the most cutting edge transit system in the world. The State of Tennessee said yes. It’s 100% privately funded. The city that’s fighting is of course democratically controlled but by following a careful arc of State roads the company can avoid local approval altogether thanks to lawmakers on the State building commission who voted unanimously to give Musks company the go ahead. This project is a very good thing for the State of Tennessee. Just another leftist crying about A magnificent thing being done because it wasn’t their idea and they have no control over.

@gregloa Can you expand on why you think this is good for the State of Tennessee? From my reading of the reports, he appears to have been given preferential treatment to construct a transit system that can only be used by Teslas and conduits that he will be able to charge utility companies large sums to use. I fail to see how this benefits anyone other than Musk.

@jshm2 he's spending investment money on an unregulated tube and vacuum system to shoot humans and cargo under the earth. Dangerous.
