His family, his ancestors, they left Germany after World War II and moved to South Africa because they wanted to continue living in a segregated society. They liked the policy of apartheid. Which means Elon Musk grew up in an environment where his trusted adult caregivers told him it was a good thing when white Europeans were in charge of brown and black people. That's the core values he learned.
