Tesla board of directors has asked Elon Musk to step down

News has broken that the Tesla board of directors has asked Elon Musk to step down from his role as CEO. (And just after he lost a Wisconsin Supreme Court battle he was for some reason sticking his nose and millions of dollars into.) Musk would still have a role in the company, but not running it and not being the main face of the company. It’s not clear yet who will step in as the new CEO, though.

@NOS4R2 Well, it's not funny, but I wonder if he makes his initial money by dividends on the shares he first bought, then by short-selling shares.

He also increses the profits hence dividends by ruthless redundancies. When he sacked all those Twitter staff, were they given redundancy payments or just told to hand in their passes and never darken the doorstep again?
