Can someone explain the reverence conservatives have for Elon Musk?

They claim to hate "big tech," but Musk invented PayPal.

They hate electric vehicles, but Musk made his fortune selling them.

The guy makes a few comments that suggest he doesn't believe in content moderation, so when he says he's buying Twitter, conservatives go gaga.

I sincerely hope Musk buys Twitter, runs it into the ground, and loses his fortune trying unsuccessfully to keep it afloat. That would be hilarious.

It's exactly the same phenomenon that finds people like you lionizing Democrat candidates like Jon Fetterman or Beto O'rourke in that they are supported and celebrated by the media and personalities that you find compelling and believable. Then you find yourself in an echo chamber that just reinforces what you already believe.
@SumKindaMunster At least you admit that conservative worship of Musk is due to an echo chamber.

Fetterman has won statewide office in PA, so it's not just an "echo chamber." And you would be hard-pressed to find a shittier candidate than Dr. Oz, although the Republicans in Georgia managed to.

Beto is overrated. He's not going to win in Texas, even against a POS like Abbott any more than he could beat an even worse POS like Cruz. He should have stayed in Congress and worked his way up that way.
