Why do people trade bits of useless metal and paper. The value of something is given by people agreeing something is valuable. Wealth has not had intrinsic value for centuries.

To put it in perspective - I put less than $300 in it. Value is now >$3500. I can cash it out at any time but I think I’ll see what happens 🤷🏻‍♀️
