I wonder why Musk, the arbiter of free speech and the truth, would turn off the location feature?
How about for users' privacy?
If a person is traveling, why does everyone need to know where the are?
Or maybe that's simply the server location. Or maybe they are using a VPN.

This is a side effect of the feature launched over the weekend displaying accounts’ locations, when it was created and how many times its username was changed.
It did not take long for, online sleuths to figure out that some accounts that post content supporting President Trump and the MAGA movement are not based in the United States.
One account called “MAGA NATION,” which has nearly 400,000 followers and posts multiple times a day, is based in Eastern Europe. Other similar accounts are based in places like Thailand, Nigeria and Bangladesh.
So much for Musk buying Twitter so he can get rid of fake accounts.
