I'm pretty sure spending went up, especially with the new government contracts.
Not down... and more money is being wasted, not less money, Elon got his new government contracts and percentage wise saved almost nothing.
Even if you believe the DOGE numbers (which have consistently been proven extremely wrong when they release enough information to fact check them), even if you believe them...
Elon promised 2 trillion, but DOGE has only claimed 180 Billion, and a majority of that is probably a lie and failing to factor in DOGE cost, cost to employees and the new contracts that have gone to Musk and Trump's buddies.
If you look at the net amounts, they surely have lost more money than saved.
