The shooter was a registered Republican.

@LeopoldBloom Yeah but recently he had been contributing to leftist organizations. Kid basically went over to the dark side.
@MrSmooTh He sent $15 to a progressive group. We don't know which one. The current anti-Zionist movement is left wing, but many right wing extremists have been getting involved with them. So until we know which group he made the massive $15 contribution to, we can't conclude that he suddenly turned into a liberal.

A group of Republican delegates recently met in Arizona to discuss how they can derail Trump's nomination and nominate Gen. Flynn instead. They believe Trump is too involved in the "deep state" and can no longer be trusted. So it's not like there isn't opposition to Trump from the extreme right.

@LeopoldBloom Oh you mean like Timothy Mcveigh types. Yeah those aren't republicans either. Those are domestic terrorists. If anything they are anarchists.
@MrSmooTh I don't know if McVeigh was a Republican, but he was definitely opposed to the Clinton administration. He wasn't an anarchist.

@MrSmooTh He registered as a Republican after he made that $15 donation.

McVeigh was a disenchanted patriotic American who felt he was betrayed by the system he served. Below in a video of the man who shot Osama bin Laden. He doesn't sound happy either.

@sree251 McVeigh's stated motive was revenge for the Branch Davidian event, and the Ruby Ridge massacre.

The "system he served" was run by Democrats when he carried out the bombing. He was a far-right extremist who was motivated by books like Camp of the Saints.

And great, the guy in the video figured out that the Iraq war was a mistake. I knew that before it started, but better late than never.

Forming opinions on anyone based on opinions shaped by propaganda is not helpful. At the end of the day there is only you, and McVeigh or Osama bin Laden is another you.

You are better than me. I didn't know that the Iraq war was just like all the other foreign wars since Vietnam. My awakening came recently, I am ashamed to admit that. Instinct told me that 9/11 was fake because no terrorist could fly those commercial airplanes after basic flight classes in small aircraft at dinky airfields of small towns USA. And yet, I swallowed the bullshit. I don't believe anything now; not even the reported assassination attempt on Trump last Saturday. A 20 year old kid acting alone? Give me a break. At a 130 yards, the CIA don't miss the target if it was Trump's head. The target was his ear. It was a successful mission. It has gotten all of us exactly where they want us.
