I never got why Catholics were allowed to own hospitals seeing that religion should be separate from state. Some of their views are dangerous. I remember hearing gay people being turned away from those hospitals.

@SatanBurger It's legal so long as they aren't receiving government funding. I want to say those hospitals are funded entirely from tithing and other donations to the Catholic church. That's how they get around the law.
