Former Olympian David Hearn indicted over alleged Reflecting Pool Vanadalism

The Washington Post has just broken the news that David Hearn, a three time Olympian, has been indicted by a DC grand jury for allegedly vandalizing the Reflecting Pool. Hearn denies the charges.

The charge or charges are not immediately clear. At the time of his arrest he was charged with the misdemeanor offense of destruction of government property.

Jeanine Pirro, the US attorney in DC is expected to announce the indictment later today.

Pirro has a dismal record for the grand jury cases she has presented thus far. She stands accused of improper conduct in relation to the grand juries, improper instructions to the jury members, and not abiding by proper procedures in her instructions to these juries.

tRUMP will most likely look very silly over this unless he has iron clad proof. A poorly focused surveillance camera photo won’t cut it and his DO(in)J may well end up facing another vindictive prosecution case. Hearn is known to be pursuing just such a defense and courts are growing weary of all of their frivolous charges.

CNBC reports:

“ Hearn’s lawyers, Norm Eisen and Mary Dohrmann, in a statement said, “Davey Hearn is innocent.”

“These charges are outrageous and should be alarming to every American,” the attorneys said.

″ This indictment reflects the Administration’s effort to shift blame for their own failures. On the eve of our nation’s Independence Day, Americans should be deeply concerned by the misuse of government power against an ordinary citizen based on a concocted narrative. The justice system exists to determine facts, not to provide political cover.”

Pirro said the Reflecting Pool is one of the national landmarks and monuments “that belong to all of us.

“And they must be protected for generations to come,” she said.

The prosecutor said her office was handling about six other cases involving alleged vandalism at the Reflecting Pool.

“Some of them will be misdemeanors, and some of them could be less like a violation, but we’re reviewing every case based upon the evidence and reviewing all of the reports, and right now it’s about another half dozen misdemeanors,” Pirro said.

A reporter asked Pirro how she squared charging Heard with Trump’s pardon of more than a thousand people who participated in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol, which led to the postponement of a joint session of Congress that was confirming Trump’s loss in the 2020 presidential election to former President Joe Biden.

“Are you really talkin about Jan. 6?” Pirro asked.

“Yes,” the reporter replied.

“I’m not,” Pirro said.”
@KunsanVeteran Pirro listed at least one felony charge and says Hearn is facing up to 10 years in prison.

Thing is: every, single rational American fully understands that the ones who truly Vandalized The Reflecting Pool are Demented Donnie and the no bid contractors who did such shoddy work and WAY OVERCHARGED THE AMERICAN TAXPAYERS FOR IT!

How's the BBC defamation case going? Let me just check...

Oh, unraveling like most of his other lawsuits.
@FreddieUK It’s just getting exciting! It’s entering Discovery!

Can’t wait until all of tRUMP’s phone records and his personal records from January 6th are released!

@KunsanVeteran I know...it's going to be very exciting to watch a British public broadcaster accused of constantly lying bring down the Dear Liar.
@FreddieUK The BBC did make an apology saying that their editing of his comments was not intentional.

That’s more than he deserved.

If he were smart (he’s NOT!), he would drop this like a hot potato.
