@Northwest Trump's war might go on as long as the Iraq war or the Russian war against Ukraine (Crimea). But I would expect the next President to take steps to end the conflict almost immediately after the transfer of power in Jan 2029, esp if a non neo-con republican wins the electoral college first-past-the-post tally.
