Trump plans to change impeachment proceedings

The Trump misadministration is seeking a resolution to expunge the two impeachments Trump faced during his first term. Although constitutional scholars and institutions like the Wall Street Journal note that such a measure would carry no binding legal weight, it would provide the president with significant political leverage to assert that the previous congressional actions were entirely fraudulent.
