Cosplaying as the saviour won't look good for his evangelical Christian nationalist MAGA base, it's blasphemy. I think this guy wants out of the presidency, so this might be part of an exit strategy, like announcing "Praise Allah" on Easter Sunday. He's looking to be ousted by his own base.

@Convivial it depends. Do Christian nationalists literally place their devotion to Trump above their devotion to God? Many will see this as blasphemy. Of course, it might just be another manifestation of Trump's narcissism, but I tend to look at a lot of his actions lately and he seems like a guy who wants out of this.
