One of my assignments was at the Dover AFB Port Mortuary where we received the deceased soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen…

I have seen that awful sight so very often that now more than a decade later I still have nightmares about it

And tRUMP’s ignorance & lack of appropriate manners, customs, and courtesies toward it never ceases to fill me with disgust

@KunsanVeteran This is the most difficult thing about this president; he has absolutely no empathy, no compassion. It’s obvious.

Even if something happened to one of his own children, it seems clear he wouldn’t mourn as having lost someone precious.

He would view it as the loss of a possession.

He would seek retribution from the standpoint of getting redress for something done to him personally.

So I don’t see how anyone could still imagine he cares about them or their children.

But you have put your finger directly on the one that I feel matters more than all the others combined.

Think about my assertion: that his lack of empathy & compassion matters more than:

His status as a convict, his insurrection, his sexual assaults, his decades of tax fraud, his cheating, his lying, his bigotry, his mismanagement of a pandemic, and the entire list would take years just to transcribe…

But more than all of that put together doesn’t matter as much as his soul being completely devoid of compassion & empathy

Because if he had even the tiniest drop of compassion & empathy none of the rest of his mess would have ever manifested itself.
