Reuters/Ipsos: Trump's Overall Approval Rating Falls to 36%...How Low Can He Go?

According to the latest Reuters/Ipsos political poll trump's overall approval has fallen to 36% and only 29% approve of his handling of the economy.

It appears a significant number of the morons who helped elect him have jumped ship.

November is approaching fast. His party is going to lose bigly if he doesn't manage to cancel the elections. I don't think he can suppress enough of the vote to save his party.

But the country will lose bigly if we see the typical 40% midterm turnout driven by those who can't take the five freaking minutes to check some boxes. There is that.
@Ynotisay I posted the likelihood of voters voting in the midterms due to the latest polls…take heart!

@KunsanVeteran Thanks but polls this far out don't hold a lot of weight for me. Apathy is real. And if we get close and "the polls" are saying a Blue Wave that means people will stay home. We've got a long way to go. We'll see.
@Ynotisay The poll results reflect the polled individuals personal weighing of numerous variables as well as other factors such as the apathy you describe, current events, etc. However, there is enough correlation that historical trends can be used to make projections.

The interesting thing is how large of a drop off of support among independents and Republicans for Demented Donnie. He is under water for a number of reasons and these converge to point to a high likelihood that there will be a Republican bloodbath in November. That could change, certainly…

But another sign of Demented Donnie’s desperation is how hard he is fighting to get the “Save Act” passed and how much he is threatening to cancel the midterms.

@KunsanVeteran This is based on over 700 polls as produced by the NYT.
But you know what? It means nothing. Voting is ALL that matters right now.
Given the fact that we live in a country where half read below a 6th grade level, I have zero confidence of this translating to Democrats controlling Congress. We'll see.
