@ididntknow I feel like that's pretty unlikely, because as a leftist, it's my unending experience that red and blue expertly excluded us and all our criticism of the unipart for over fifty years.
Trump did lie about having plans to end the war in Ukraine. I had no problem knowing he was lying because those statements don't fit with his other claims about China or Russia, and he was never a coherent peace advocate.
It's possible to know from what people say and do whether they are being honest, especially in politics. I feel like Americans aren't honest enough... Fifty years of consistent pro war votes from both parties are like proof that neither side promises peace.
