We shouldn’t have a president at this point especially not one who thinks their king.

He is intentionally nurturing chaos so he can do terrible things and nobody will notice. He is wrong, of course, but that’s perfectly normal for him.

@Mamapolo2016 Noticing is not the issue, actually doing something about the ongoing destruction of the USA appears to being ignored.
Rabbit420 · 70-79, M
Of course it's passed as a joke, because his supporters always claim he says what he thinks and stands behind what he says, except when what he says makes him look bad.
Alyosha · 36-40, M
He's just voicing what he wants. He wants unlimited power for life. Why are people surprised that the guy who staged an attempted coup against the government wants to get rid of elections?
@Alyosha Outraged is not necessarily surprised.

Reagan at his first inaugural:
“Government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.”

Obama at Ohio State:
“Unfortunately, you’ve grown up hearing voices that incessantly warn of government as nothing more than some separate, sinister entity that’s at the root of all our problems,” Obama told the audience at the Ohio State commencement ceremony. “They’ll warn that tyranny is always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices”.

It’s as if the Administration took the grievances leveled against King George III in the Declaration of Independence and adopted them as a governing playbook.

They are unfolding now through emergency declarations, Warrantless Raids, Speech-based Detentions, Unaccountable Surveillance, and Military Invasiveness launched without consent or Constitutional Authority.

With every passing day, the US Police State gets more unhinged.

Consumed with visions of Global and Military conquest, Donald Trump has treated Sovereignty as negotiable and International Law as an inconvenience. He has threatened, coerced, or destabilized Sovereign Countries including Venezuela, Greenland, Cuba, Nigeria, Iran, and others—not through Diplomacy or lawful process, but through dominance, spectacle, and unilateral Force.

This is lawlessness carried out by Mercenaries and Thugs on the Government Payroll.

Not content to wage Warfare, the US Government has systematically transformed America into a Battlefield, setting its sights on the American Public, Taxpayers, and Consumers.

ICE Agents have been battering down Doors, ramming into Private homes, and carrying out warrantless Militarized Raids that treat Constitutional protections as inconveniences and Human Beings as expendable obstacles.

@NativePortlander1970 I am hating on the people in those photographs, it’s case of fame using fame.
But you will notice most of the people made a notable defection from him after the Central Park Five. The rest after the past election.
What is missing from the those photos are the millionaires and billionaires of the time.
Just like old Tony, he still has to buy respect from around the world, because he definitely hasn’t earned it or won it from the real people who counts.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Briggett You forgot to mention a few tyrants throughout the whole world, yet pretty much accurate.

Like his self admitted friends Xi, Putin, Kim Jong Un and Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.

@Thodsis Straight from the interview source!

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/five-takeaways-reuters-interview-president-trump-2026-01-15/

"It's some deep psychological thing, but when you win the presidency, you don't win the midterms,” Trump said. He boasted that he had accomplished so much that “when you think of it, we shouldn't even have an election".

No paid subscription needed either.

He has said before that he's afraid of impeachment recently.

“You got to win the midterms,” Trump told House Republicans at a retreat Tuesday. “If we don’t win the midterms … they’ll find a reason to impeach me. I’ll get impeached.”
Pfuzylogic · M

If a president can cancel an election, the United States of America is dead.
A convicted criminal in the White House who wants to become a dictator and end the democratic process.
