You have to admire how stupid Donald Trump can make his supporters look — and they still cheer blindly for him.
For a decade, a key part of Trump’s schtick has been that he’s the only one who won’t start new wars — literally claiming that if you elected Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, or Kamala Harris, they would “start World War III.”
And MAGA cheered. At last, we’d have a president who doesn’t want more wars, regime changes, or to drag America into the affairs of other nations!
Now look at what we actually have.
Trump has authorized strikes on Iran, invaded Venezuela and kidnapped its leader to install a regime of his choosing, he's threatening to do the same thing to Cuba, has threatened to take Greenland “the easy way or the hard way,” and now, once again, he's threatening strikes in Iran in response to the protests taking place there.
And MAGA is cheering and supporting all of it.
Day after day, Trump proves he sees his supporters as mindless sheep — relying on the fact that most will never question him or hold him accountable.
As I’ve said plenty of times before, you can’t really even call these folks hypocrites. To be a hypocrite implies that you had a set of core values and principles to contradict — and these MAGA folks have none.
Meanwhile, they get upset when anyone calls them “stupid” or “ignorant” for supporting him — even though he’s the one treating them like idiots, every single day.
