International law is kinda a joke. It's decided on by the countries with the most power. If Namibia violated international law, that would be a problem. But America pretty much sets the law.

@BohoBabe Wars in the late 20th and thus far in the 21st century are not as often fought by individual countries as by coalitions. That’s why Bush worked so hard to build a coalition using his lies about WMD, etc.
Venezuela has been courting: Russia, China, Cuba, Iran, India, and other South/Central American countries.
If it’s more than a “border skirmish” you better have strong allies standing with you…

@KunsanVeteran It is true that America at least used to try to maintain some semblance of law. What Bush did was illegal, but he did it under the guise of looking legal. Whereas Trump, being controlled by Rubio and Miller, is just openly doing the illegal thing.

@BohoBabe Very true. Hard to see any way to really defuse this now. Another thing Demented Donnie has done away with are: skilled diplomats & statesmen…

@KunsanVeteran It's also crazy that even Russia and Israel had to lie to justify their war crimes. Whereas Trump is just saying we want to take over and run Venezuela.
