@Nanoose Australia has done the same. Deals with britain China and other Asian buyers. I dont know if we have any to spare. If we do its going to cost America more..😷

**Actually it turns out I was incorrect on this.. While we have signed new deals to sell our beef elsewhere, it seems supply to the US has gone on uninterrupted, with the importers paying the tariffs. This accounts for the price rises in the US..**

@SomeMichGuy I wonder what the fast burger comapnies solution was? Maybe they paid the tariff? (Australian beef is used to balance up the burgers made with US beef which is not so good in taste and texture on its own.)😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Oz beef is mainly grass fed, and lean. US beef is lot fed and over-fat... but you probably know that... :)

@SomeMichGuy They can try to push impossi- burgers until the cows come home but nobody is going to buy them. This is a little off topic but this was the first time the blueberries farmers in my area didn’t bother to ship their their berries to the US – they found other buyers. Cheers and happy weekend!

@walabby Indeed. And the feedlot beef from America is fed hormones for growth and antibiotics to cope with the corn it was never designed to eat. I will leave the GMO factor in the corn out as personally I dont think that will add harm. However, the results are what has US beef locked out of so many export markets..😷

Americans generally (and thats a dangerous word right there) are great at waving the flag when they win, even if they werent in the game. But not so good with consequences.
