we need to call it what it is, a truce, a cease fire. Israeli troops will stay in Gaza, Hamas will not lay down their weapons, not yet anyway.

@samueltyler2 Carter and Clinton both created peace between the official Arab Governments at actual war with Israel: Egypt and Jordan, that lasted up to 48 years now.

@Northwest yes, and several martyrs came out of the accords. The difference now is primarily "theater ". Let us hope a ceasefire turns into peace.
Let us not stop in turning weapons into ploughshares, instead continue to make musical instruments of them. That was, if those possessing them again want to go to war, they will first need to turn the musical instruments back to ploughshares.
