looks like movie viewing may just go up in price.....

trump apparently wants to add a 100% tariff to any u.s. made movie not filmed in america. the reason why we here in bc have a decent movie industry is because of the major tax credits we give them and how far the usd goes in canada...oh well 🤷

In Taiwan and Paris and New York and Los Angeles during my youth there was a vibrant film culture, plenty of opportunities to act and make films. The population was free, housed, fed and not working all the time! Not like you really want authentic art NOW! You can buy some substitutes. God KNOWS you can't house or feed a population without enslaving it and abusing it! Art comes from free people. Not from workers.
