Americans, how do you feel about Trump phasing out FEMA?

I haven't researched FEMA thoroughly, but I do know they have an abysmal record. During the last flood disaster in North Carolina, they were notably absent. FEMA representatives were told that if they felt the least bit threatened by the disaster victims, they should leave immediately, without helping.

Sending snowflakes into redneck territory and telling them they can leave if they "feel" threatened is like giving them a hall pass to NOT do their jobs. Because snowflakes will ALWAYS feel threatened by rednecks.

I think the North Carolina disaster was the final straw for FEMA, in the minds of both Trump and Kristi Noem.

Trump would like to pass disaster funding on to the individual states, instead. That means that each State will have to develop and maintain the equivalent of a single state FEMA bureau.

This COULD be a very bad idea if the governors of said states are corrupt, like Gavin Newsome, or Pritcher.

The money will simply disappear, and the people will not receive help.
