@Elessar All nurses and health professionals even Doctors for their residency come on H1b visa. Yeah but beneficiaries of H1b visas are 90% Indians, and out of them 90% work with IT field.H1 isn’t only for IT but for other professions as well. Filipino nurses and technologists all comes on H1. It doesn't make sense to impose that much fees on an H1B visa. It is already a dual intent visa so you cannot question someone's intent on this visa. H1b are limited in numbers and the fill up fast. Does he know the meaning of proclamation? Or did he just hear King Charles say the word.Ah yes, the old, traditional, royal proclamation. A cornerstone of any constitutional republic. Now this has been passed under a presidential proclamation on the 19th of September and is said to come into effect starting the 21st of September 2025.And the VISA will be only for 1 year instead of 3 years which has been the norm.
