Trump Pushes Policies That 'Treat Homelessness and Mental Illness as a Crime

Meanwhile, National Coalition for the Homeless executive director Donald Whitehead Jr. declared that "everyone deserves a safe place to live."

Trump's policies, he said, "ignore decades of evidence-based housing and support services in practice. They represent a punitive approach that has consistently failed to resolve homelessness and instead exacerbates the challenges faced by vulnerable individuals."

🚨 Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Trump's policies later down the line contribute to homegrown domestic terrorism. Not that I'm calling for something like that to happen but it is a predictable consequence to authoritarianism.

This could get bad, I give it up to a year before we start seeing things getting worse.

Aside from its inhumanity, the other question this policy raises is: who's going to pay for incarceration of all these homeless?? If tRump makes homelessness a federal crime, where will he find the money to imprison them all??

Oh, wait, this guy figured it out!
