It's a great idea!
@Nitedoc I'm not sure it is, because I don't even understand what that means. Can you explain? 😅

@Nitedoc so you don't understand what it means but do think it's a great idea? 🤔

@NerdyPotato If I have to explain iy you wouldn't unstand anyway. 😐
@Nitedoc well, my understanding is that if you reduce anything by 100%, all of it is gone and there's nothing left to remove. Where is the flaw in that logic?

How do you reduce prices by 14 times their current level? Do they become negative? What does a negative price mean?

@NerdyPotato I told you you wouldn't understand!
@Nitedoc then please enlighten me

@NerdyPotato Really! 1400% is 14 times a number. If that price is $140 for a prescription and you reduce it 1400% the new price is $10. That's very similar to what's happened to insulin prices a few years ago. The government stopped the price gouging!
@Nitedoc your first statement is correct, but you've got the math after that the wrong way around. Going from $140 to $10 makes a 13/14 reduction, not a 14 times one. That's roughly 93%.

I think you're confusing this with going from $10 to $140 being an 1400% increase, which is true.

A 1400% decrease of $140 would be $1960. What does it mean to make a $140 drug $1960 cheaper, or a $10 one $140 to stick with the easier numbers in the correct place?

@NerdyPotato You're calculating it wrong. Read what you said agin and try again.
@Nitedoc I've read it again, and it seems correct. Even a contextual calculator agrees:

@NerdyPotato I don't think that's right, but whatever. Get a life!
@Nitedoc math doesn't care about what you think. This is how percentages work. 🤷

@NerdyPotato No it isn't!
