Is Trump giving Russia more than they deserve?

Trump has given Russia 5 months to reach a peace agreement or face 100% tariffs. And I think that's 5 more months than they deserve. If Trump had done that on day one maybe the war might be over by now. Cheers!

you know, tariffs are a tax on us. What they hell are we importing from Russia anyway?

@Dadbod52 I know tariffs are a tax on you - but sometimes I think Trump doesn't know it. I really don’t think Russia imports much to the US. So threatening Russia with tariffs seems pretty weak. Cheers!

@Dadbod52 So, where are the greatly increased sanctions? Not 'secondary tariffs' on those who trade with russia... trump is hoping the phrase will make it look like he's applying more sanctions, but tariffs aren't sanctions. Making americans pay more for goods imported from unnamed countries is pointless and duplicitous.

Where are the increased sanctions?

Lindsey Graham has bought trump time by promoting a sanctions bill that sounds good - until you realise that Graham included a clause that allows his master to arbitrarily override any or all of those sanctions.
