@meJess It didn't prevent anything. The intelligence community had already assessed the threat posed by Iran, and determined they were years away from a functional nuclear missile. Plenty of time to do it the diplomatic way. Now, instead, we've angered Iran, and as the nasty yellow frosting on this stinky brown cake, we've managed to upset Russia as well. And guess what? They've offered to provide Iran with the very thing you were hoping to keep out of their hands. Nuclear weapons.
