If All Illegal Aliens Are Deported, Who Will Pick The Crops?
We'll all starve to death. That's what the left says, at least. That, and it will all be Trump's fault.
No one on the left talks about the actual number of illegals picking crops. Nope. Only that the number is so massive, their deportation would spell our doom. So, is the number really millions and millions like the left says?
In 2023, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics said the number of Agriculture Workers was 782,400.
So, what is an "Agricultural Worker?"
Ah...a Farm Worker (those who picks crops) is a subset of Ag Worker...so the actual number is less than the 782K.
And let's not assume every farm worker is an illegal alien....that would be racist. Per NBC:
40%...it's probably less than 300K.
Are there illegals aliens working that don't get captured in the gov't numbers. Yep. Millions and millions? 🤡 🌎

You have 20-30 million illegal aliens in the US, and fewer than 300K are picking crops. Do the math. Deport.

We already have a legal framework for immigrants to come here as farmworkers. It’s called the H-2A visa. Farmers can legally bring in farmworkers through this program, which operates similarly to systems used in Europe. These workers are documented migrant farmworkers who are here legally. The same individuals who previously entered illegally, claiming they only wanted to work, now have the opportunity to return legally and work under this program.
As for the claim that some are suggesting Trump wants to "put Blacks back in the fields," let’s be clear: We know Black Americans, like White Americans, are too lazy to work in the fields. But here’s the reality: that laziness that Black Americans are bragging about, hasn’t worked in the Black community’s favor. It is the reason why the Hispanic population has grown so significantly in the U.S., compared to Blacks (Hispanics 20%, Blacks 14%), and why, on average, Hispanics now earn more than Blacks.
