Why does MAGA hate medical research?

Science teaches us that the world is complicated and that controversial issues cannot be reduced to a binary choice. I guess that is frightening to some.

Yet if any of their family members collapsed they wouldn't simply kneel over their child's convulsing torso and offer up prayers, they'd be getting them to the hospital asap. Every procedure, test or medicine that acted to save their lives or cured their ailment would have come about through medical research.

It's more that they want everything to be privatized because that means more money for billionaires, even though it's less efficient. It's just another case of putting profits before people.

They don't like science of any kind.
