Trump said Putin is “needlessly killing a lot of people,” pointing out that “missiles and drones are being shot into Cities in Ukraine, for no reason whatsoever.”

@JimboSaturn It's never a good idea to paint an opponent into a corner where his/her only way out is to fight. Never a good idea in a thermonuclear world. Give them an alternate and safe escape route.

@Heartlander What is your point? Putin was given many options to cease his unjust invasion of Ukraine, he has no interest in peace. Putin only responds to strength. The whole world knows all they have to do is flatter Trump and you get your way with him. He's a joke.

@newjaninev2 I guess its much irrelevant with Trump said , he cant remember it. Putin cant just stop the war like this , they would murder him within 6 months. Even after Putin Russia will depend on China. Trump is gambling again with economy and he has around 1 year time left to do it. Low oil price for a year can end this war.

@JimboSaturn No, Putin has to be kept in the loop. When Putin stops answering the phone the war will continue towards a military conclusion. What will keep Putin answering the phone will be Trump's economic pressure.

What gave Putin the green light to invade Ukraine was Obama's promise to protect Ukraine if Ukraine surrendered their nuclear weapons. And what sent the Russian tanks rolling was Biden hobbling the US oil industry.

@Heartlander Why would protection against invasion give Putin a "green light"? Seems contradictory. What eonomic pressure? Trump still hasn't done anything against Russia, in fact Russia was one of the only countries that he did not levy tariffs. Everyone was calling Russia out before it even happened. Trump absolutely loves Putin, and will do anything for people who flatter him.
