Why doesn't Trump send troops to S.C. to turn on the spigot?

@Dino11 There is plenty of fault to go around. The interface of housing and forestland has been mismanaged for decades -- a product of many factors, but largely lax local zoning and building codes not requiring proper hardening of buildings and building sites to prevent the spread of forest fires, and that has mostly to do with counties and cities hungry for local tax bases. Forestlands in general have not been managed well, over 90% of which in California are Federal such as where the L.A. fires broke out. Trump and Musk's solution to that has been to gut the understaffed National Forests further.
