mysteryespresso Germany just went from a notoriously difficult three party coalition to a much more stable two party one, with the exception of the AfD both the BSW and FDP are out of the Bundestag, and first thing announced by the newcoming chancellor is that the top priority is decoupling from the USA. There's a meeting etween Merz and Macron about Europeanizing the French nuclear deterrent already in the schedule, something that I wouldn't have seen happening with Scholz.
Germany got stronger from this election, not weaker, especially on the international policy front.
