Were the crowd booing the team or Trump at the weekend?

Well said, Fred.

That post is actually correct, just for the record. 🇨🇦

I would have thought it was pretty obvious that the Canadian crowd disagreed with US policy and specifically Trump.

Yes, it IS very obvious. That was my point. Canada is now in the process as we speak, of re-establishing old Trade relationships with Europe it once held as it begins to distance it's Trade relations with the USA, in addition to opening the Trade doors to the Asia Pacific which Canada services 6 times daily by air which it has done for years, but which Canada had previous restricted to preserve it's Trade relations with the USA. That Trade relationship with the USA is now done.

NOW, there's a gawd damn oil pipeline being approved that had previously been shelved for years in Canada, to pipe Canadian crude oil from the Canadian mid-west to the Canadian west coast dockyards which is destined to China after meandering through the Rocky Mountains at great expense ..and to the Canadian east coast as well which is destined for Europe, as Canada begins to throttle-back it's planned export of crude to the south which ultimately ends up in Texas and Louisiana oil refineries.

That southern flow of crude oil appears to be coming to an end, or at least close to it, despite the fact that the USA imports 70% of it's crude from Canada and 20% from Venezuela. I don't know who was advising Trump to shoot from the hip when he was shooting his mouth off publicly, but whoever it was in the US government that was advising Trump, obviously doesn't know where America's crude oil is coming from or where 90% of the America's east coast electricity is being generated from because the USA is sure as hell not generating it themselves.

You would not believe the anti-US Trade initiative that's been started across Canada since Trump made those inflammatory remarks, while at the same time posing direct threats to Canada's Sovereignty, sparking a 'Buy Canadian' initiative that's been strongly supported by the Prime Minister of Canada himself.

It's gone f'-ing crazy up here north of the 49th Parallel. All over the TV it's being advertised which stores you can buy Canadian-made products in while choosing to leave US-made goods on the shelf.

Even American-made beer is taking a hit on principle alone it seems! Canadian-made beer sales are up 25% already and summer isn't even on the horizon yet!

American agricultural produce and imported US dairy are being sent back across the border to the US after sitting on the shelf for a week in Canada as Canadians make this stark awareness-switch to their weekly shopping routine, choosing to buy anything that doesn't say 'Product of the USA' or 'Made in the USA'.

When you see Canadians booing the US National Anthem at a sporting event, they are booing the current US government's right-wing regime, not the country or the people of the USA, despite half of those Americans who unwittingly voted for Trump.

This has only just started up here and it's going viral because Canadians are cancelling travel to the USA at the last minute and south-bound flights are cancelling as a result. 🇨🇦

@swirlie Wow, I didn’t know that Canada was canceling flights to the US.

By last Friday, just one Canadian airline alone has cancelled 25% of all US-bound flights from Canada because passengers were cancelling their travel plans.

Canada's National airline advertises that it makes 99 flights per week to the USA from Canada, some US destinations it services 6 times daily from Canada.

You know nothing about Canada and its superiority complex. Kind of funny but you would not be welcome in Canada now.
