@NativePortlander1970 It is caused by blood clots and scarring. CTEPH can happen to anyone, but it’s often curable.

Is this you or are you going to die?

@Vin53 Two bouts, in 2013 and 2016. Yes, it will eventually kill me, most likely in my sleep.

@Vin53 As for the cures, either open lung surgery where they scrape out the dried blood and scarring like I'm a canteloupe, or a double lung transplant.

@Vin53 Because I have to sit down to cook and do the dishes, and shower, it takes extra time and effort to do those things. That stroganoff you rag on took me quite a lot of time and energy to make, as for the bite size beef that small, that's how my Dad did it when I was a toddler, he taught me how to make it when I was six years old in 1976. Not only were you insulting me and my cooking, you were insulting my Dad, who died two months before my 11th birthday in early 1981, who was a serious home gourmet himself, who learned from his Dad while he was growing up, himself a serious home gourmet.
