What do you think about Trump mocking Biden’s stutter?

At rally Trump talked about Biden’s State of the Union address. One of the things he said was - “Wasn’t it - didn’t it bring us together?” Trump asked sarcastically. He kept the bit going, slipping into a Biden caricature. “I’m gonna bring the country tuh-tuh-tuh-together,” Trump said, straining and narrowing his mouth for comedic effect. Trump was mocking Biden’s stutter even though Biden didn’t say tuh – tuh – tuh - together during his speech. I think it brought dirty politics to a new low level. I think it also proved that Trump made fun of a disabled reporter in 2016 by mocking the reporters body movement. Trump and his supporters denied that he did it but I think this stutter thing proves he is nasty enough to do such a thing. I included a photo of Trump mocking the reporter. Cheers!

Biden doesn’t have a stutter, and has never had a stutter, he has senile dementia, you only have to look back at his previous speeches over the years, NO STUTTER

Medically there is no such thing as “senile dementia”. These are two separate diagnosis

@ididntknow glad to hear you are able to make diagnosis with your advanced medical degree in psychiatry! Good for you!

As I’ve said before. I have heard however Trump has been diagnosed as a narcissistic psychopath. Look it up if you don’t know the meaning. You may need help reading it though.

@HBguy it’s plain to see, stop saying the emperor has new clothes, when he’s clearly naked

Mixing metaphors does not mean that either one is applicable nor that either one is correct.

"Senile dementia of the Alzheimer's type (SDAT) is neuropathologically characterized by severe cortical atrophy and cell loss as well as a high index of dementia as measured by numbers of neurofibrillary tangles (NFT) and neuritic plaques (NP) in neocortex and hippocampus."

@Diotrephes Dementia is a feature of Alzheimer’s / senile or senility is not. Often commonly used together but not the proper usage. Refer to the DSM-5 or ICD. Please and thank you.

"Alois Alzheimer is best known for his description of a novel disease, subsequently named after him. However, his wide range of interests also included vascular brain diseases. He described Senile dementia, a highly heterogeneous condition, and was able not only to distinguish it from syphilitic brain disease, but also to discriminate two clinicopathological subtypes, that may be labeled a "arteriosclerotic subtype", comparable to the present clinicopathological continuum of "Vascular cognitive impairment", and another as a "neurodegenerative subtype", characterized by primary [cortical] ganglion cell [nerve cells] degeneration, possibly foreshadowing a peculiar presenile disease that he was to describe some years later and would carry his name. He also considered the possibility of a senile presentation of this disease subtype, which was described by Oskar Fischer a short time later. Considering the clinicopathological overlapping features of the "arteriosclerotic subtype" of Senile dementia with Arteriosclerotic atrophy of the brain, it might be possible to consider that both represent a single condition."

@Diotrephes

You know that these are old terms and phrases that are no longer used in medicine. Same as gout, black toe disease, and angry lung disease…..

syphilitic brain is not even used anymore.
