Do you think Trump is going to try the old Jeffrey Epstein defense at his trial?

One of the subjects in the Trump Caralson interview last night was Jeffrey Epstein. They talked about the possibility that Epstein was murdered in prison and the possibility of Trump facing the same fate if he was put in prison. I think they were just paving the way for Trump to get home arrest instead of jail time. I think Trump knows he will be sentenced to doing time and Trump knows that the best he can do is make that time as comfortable as can be in a place were the KFC runs free. Cheers and happy weekend!

I suspect he’d end up in Club Fed, with 24/7 protection and no danger of ending up like Epstein, who was despised even by the guards. There are still enough deluded people who see Trump as their much-maligned hero and anything happening to him would mean instant martyrdom.

Nobody wants that. 🙄

@bijouxbroussard He is going to gain the status of martyr no matter what. Even if he dies of natural causes the people that worship him will swear he was assassinated and therefore martyr and deify him. There is no scenario where he just dies and is forgotten.
