@Theyitis the semantics are irrelevant, the problem the same. He wants to overturn the US Constitution and rule for life, he so much as said so.

Vs
a republic where laws are made by representatives chosen by the people and limited by a constitution that specifically protects the rights of the minority from the will of the majority.

Some people refer to the US as a representative democracy however when we pledge allegiance to our flag its .....to the Republic for which it stands...
