WHO calls this virus a flu now

3 years after Mr Donald J.Trump called it flu.

So, Really Trump was a real smart genuine person who knew that Chinese don't want him in office for he wanted to MAGA. He knew that people, If they would die, they would die of massive psychological warfare associated. And he tried to warn. He even GOT the virus himself, willingly and was past the virus in a few days, just to show people that it is just another virus. But people didn't believe and that caused this psychological warfare succeed at all fronts.

@Wiseacre Died of fear of uncertainty, Fear of danger
@Wiseacre Death certificates are vetted and signed by thousands of city and county medical examiners all across the nation. BUT! @TheOrionbeltseeker knows more than all of them combined!!

500,000 excess US deaths in 2020 alone? Those thousands of city and county medical examiners got them ALL WRONG!!! </s>
TheOrionbeltseeker · 36-40, M
@ElwoodBlues Yes, they got all wrong.

All I know is I have had hundreds of flu's throughout my life, but the one I had last winter was not a flu, it was a strong virus and it felt like it was killing me. Completely different symptoms and the intensity level of the pain was just horrendous. I have never felt so sick from 1-100 in a Thanos snap.
Flu death rates depend on age. Here are typical numbers for the US:
50-64 years . . 9 deaths per 100,000
65+ years . . . . 22

In 2020 in the US, without vaccine, Covid deaths rates in the over 65 age range were above 5000 per 100,000. Covid-19 was 100X deadlier than a typical flu. Overall, US Covid death rates were 1000 per 100,000.

And Trump's attempts to treat Covid like the flu and to pretend it would go away on its own cost us HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of American lives.

[sep][sep][sep]

All through Trump's term, our Covid per capita death rate was DOUBLE that of countries like Canada & Germany, resulting in about 550,000 Covid deaths under Trump.

If Trump had handled Covid as well as, say, Justin Trudeau, we'd have had 275,000 FEWER DEATHS! Put another way, Trump's mis-management of Covid cost more deaths than THREE Viet Nam wars!! Three Viet Nams in a SINGLE YEAR, not spread out over ten years like the actual war!!!

Sure, Covid came from outside. And different leaders in different countries managed it differently. Trump's piss-poor Covid management is made clear by the relative per capita death rates.
"I look at it this way," Birx told CNN's Chief Medical Correspondent Sanjay Gupta. "The first time, we have an excuse. There were about 100,000 deaths that came from that original surge. All of the rest of them, in my mind, could have been mitigated or decreased substantially."
@TheOrionbeltseeker I have no idea where you came up with "Guptil." If you're talking about the person listening to Dr Deborah Birx, the point is the quote from Dr Birx. The Trump admin appointed Birx to the position of White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator. She was at many of Trump's Covid press conferences
TheOrionbeltseeker · 36-40, M
@ElwoodBlues It was all the result of fear mongering of Fauci.
@TheOrionbeltseeker Death certificates are vetted and signed by thousands of city and county medical examiners all across the nation. BUT! You know better than all of them. RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT
Is this what you mean?

TheOrionbeltseeker · 36-40, M
@Mamapolo2016 Because if WHO says so now, Noone would believe WHO any further for all the fear mongering it did. It had to.

Trying to come closer, still a few miles away.
@TheOrionbeltseeker WHO did not, to the best of my knowledge, say covid-19 is a flu.
TheOrionbeltseeker · 36-40, M
@Mamapolo2016 To the best of my knowledge and academics , WHO is trying their best to level DOWN the status of the virus.
Northwest · M
Amazing. It's as if you don't understand that 2020 is not 20203 and the virus that hit us in 2020, is not the strain we have today. Not to mention that Covid-19 is not the flu.
Northwest · M
@TheOrionbeltseeker wallow in your ignorance. No wonder MAGAs are suckers
TheOrionbeltseeker · 36-40, M
@Northwest Irony is that you also know who is Right here.
Northwest · M
@TheOrionbeltseeker I’m sure you’re also certain Trump won the elections.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
3 years afyer Trump praised China for the excellent job they were doing to fight COVID.
Wiseacre · F
Nobody ik...he called it the wuhan plague.
TheOrionbeltseeker · 36-40, M
@ElwoodBlues No, probably it's you who knows all. What you do not know is a woman died 4 days ago for she went to doctor for seasonal cough and doctor told her it could be Covid too. She was dead even before she could come home.

Rest, you know about all the certificates.
DDonde · 31-35, M
It is not an influenza virus. "Flu" means something specific.
TheOrionbeltseeker · 36-40, M
@ElwoodBlues So what correction?
TheOrionbeltseeker · 36-40, M
@ElwoodBlues When you don't know nothing, keep your mouth out of my way.
@TheOrionbeltseeker
So what correction?
I explained it; you didn't get it. SAD!!
