FINALLY! Some Trump Action..

NY State had just filed suit charging Trump and three of his children with fraud over the valuations of properties within NY state. The amount of the suit is $250 Million. It is alledged that these valuations were for the purpose of falsely inflating Trumps real Wealth for advantage as well as underpaying Taxes due.
Now if Trump is as rich as is claimed this is peanuts to him. But it does come with the rider that Trump and his kids wont be able to run businesses in NY and the Trump organisation wont be able to operate as it stands.
Further; It is my belief that this will cause the sale or seizure or some Trump properties.. And that they are so heavier encumbured that they wont realize enough to cover their indebtedness, causing more properties to be seized to clear those debts. A gaint, slow motion domino effect I have been waiting for, for some time.

I saw some of the articles on Yahoo. What I came away with was a question about whether anyone in the NY-DA office or the media ever took any courses in accounting or finance. To follow the logic, car dealers should all be arrested for posting inflated sticker prices on new automobiles, and any used car dealers should get automatic double-fines because their inflated phony prices are even higher. Or dial up any stock and check the distance between the bid and ask price. And here's the big question: how can a stock have a market price of $1,000 a share when it earns zero, and has a book value of near zero?

@Heartlander There's an overpriced home about 10 feet from where I'm sitting. Let's send in the FBI helicopters!

I spent a few years developing financial software as an independent contractor. It wasn't unusual for me to charge $5,000 for what I did and the persons I did it for book it for $500,000. It's how value gets created.

It's like the $1,000 stock price for a company that's losing money and has near zero book value. It's worth $1,000 because someone "thinks" it's worth $1,000, and they are willing to pay that price or lend money against it.

@Heartlander Thats the investment myth. Never confuse a stock price with Profit. And P/E ratios have been falling for years..😷
