Should we stop treating Trump voters like Morons?

@BackyardShaman This was a half assed post, to be sure, and I kind of regret posting it the way I did.

Marcotte's piece, I think kind of does treat Trump supporters like morons, as if they're victims because Trump is using their donations to defend himself.

I don't buy that they're that stupid. I think that a vote for, or a dollar sent to Trump is a vote for lying, fraud and corruption, and that maybe it is time to stop treating Trump supporters like they're idiots.

They could, for, example, read James' lawsuit and contemplate his 400+ invocations of the Fifth Amendment, but my guess is most won't and will instead look for Hannity, Ingraham or even Trump to tell them how to respond, just like they did with Barr over the Mueller report.

I don't but stupidity or a lack on intellectual ability here as an excuse. I think it's deliberate ignorance.
