Could everyone please lay off Trump supporters??

Its counterproductive pointing out to them just how wrong they are..It only strengthens their need to defend their opinions against all logic and its hard enough without the rest of us rubbing it in.
They feel bad enough already.. Thank you. 馃樂

I listen to Trump supporters, and right-wing people (which isn't always easy), and I try to understand the way they think; their mindset; their motivations.
@helenS It's the only way to understand and reconcile differences? I, of course, have my opinions, things I passionately disagree with, but if I shut off, put puffy ear muffs on my opinions to make them right, I am left with what?

An echo chamber.

@thewindupbirdchronicles When you're kind and polite yourself, the "other side" will be polite too. Trumpists are often attacked, mocked, poked fun at 鈥搃t's not surprising that they react aggressively.
@helenS I fully understand that one. I don't know what it's like in Europe, but I think we should let America play itself out, if it's an error of an egregious kind, let them find it out, while watching?

Deuteronomy 8:37 (CEV) = "People of nearby countries will shudder when they see your terrible troubles, but they will still make fun of you."
@helenS They鈥檒l be polite if you fit a demographic they don鈥檛 have a problem with. I鈥檝e found it doesn鈥檛 much matter how I am to them.

@helenS Yes.. And showing them a little empathy is the right thing to do. Someone has to be an adult here.馃樂

@whowasthatmaskedman Yes, and, in my point of view, it's not just pretending. I talk to people on an equal footing, not assuming anything. Whenever I talk with someone they may be right and I may be wrong.

@helenS There is so often more than one way to be right. Avoiding being wrong is the key to success..馃樂

Good for you if you can do that. However, I have no respect for anyone who kisses the lying orange traitor's ass.
