Its counterproductive pointing out to them just how wrong they are..It only strengthens their need to defend their opinions against all logic and its hard enough without the rest of us rubbing it in. They feel bad enough already.. Thank you. 😷

@texasborn89 Gas prices fell because people were working from home or laid off.
Inflation...read up about what went into this. Higher gas prices hurt us a lot because our brilliant business ppl sent most production overseas, much in China...which has had a lot of shutdowns. And demand for a lot of things went down because of the economic uncertainty. We stopped a lot of warehousing in favor of "Just In Time" production & delivery...which fails in our current situation.
@texasborn89 I appreciate the example of deflection, with a side order ill informed redirection. No President creates an economy, they surf the one they get and try not to fall off. Seasonal factors, profit gouging and global demand with restricted supply all played a part in the fuel price cycle and inflation.. But we can talk about that another time..😷
@texasborn89 At least when trump was in office 22 million Americans lost their jobs, and that reduced gas prices for those who could still afford cars. FTFY!!

@bijouxbroussard the US education system really doesn't do good enough of a job of teaching economics, and making people retain what they learned
@SW-User I would settle for kids being taught "Financial Literacy" in schools, so they know what money is and how to manage their own. Economics is really only housekeeping on a grand scale.😷
